Alhamdulillah, we are taking orders for UK Sheep Aqiqah offering collection, cutting and courier delivery service. Please note: No mincing is available at present. Dicing is performed instead.

Aqiqah orders must be placed by no later than 12noon on the day before the preferred Zabiha date.

*All orders received for Zabiha upto Monday shall be processed and despatched the same week for delivery on Thursday. Zabiha orders received for Tuesday and onwards shall be despatched the week after (for delivery on Thursday of the following week).

Select the day of Aqiqah. We operate Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. During low season we may not operate on Wednesday or another day. It is sunnah to perform Aqiqah on the 7th day of birth - with day 1 being the day of birth. So if the baby is born on a Tuesday the 7th day is Monday. If it falls on a day we're not working we will pick the closest working day.

I acknowledge that the Aqiqah offal (co-products) money should be given to charity (£3 for lamb, £3 for sheep). EQL gives the co-products money to our nominated charity partner Islamic Relief (IR). You can choose to give it to us to give to IR or you can give to your own favourite charity directly. Co-products include casing, tripe and any other part that is sold for money.

Description

Order UK Sheep Aqiqah online. Aqiqah is a traditional offering made by Muslim parents when a child is born. This is made as an act of gratitude and thanksgiving to God, in a similar way to Qurbani and the sacrifice of Prophet Abraham (pbuh). Traditionally two animals are put forward for a boy and one for a girl but of course there are no limits to however many you do! From the resulting meat it is sunnah for a third to be kept by the family, a further third to be shared amongst family and friends with the final third being donated in charity.
