Alhamdulillah, we are now taking orders for Sheep Aqiqah in Ghana.

Aqiqah orders for Ghana must be placed at least three days in advance of your preferred Zabiha date. Otherwise, your order may be cancelled.

For example:

Zabiha on Monday – order must be placed by 5pm on Thursday

Zabiha on Wednesday – order must be placed by 5pm on Saturday

Zabiha on Friday – order must be placed by 5pm on Monday

Zabiha on Sunday – order must be placed by 5pm on Wednesday

All your Aqiqah meat shall be distributed to poor and needy families in Ghana by our partner Charity, Progressive Welfare Foundation (pwf.org.uk) which is headed by a Halal expert and meat scientist Dr Awal Fusseini so you can be assured it is done with the best of welfare and quality in mind.

A short video will be provided to evidence the Aqiqah. The Aqiqah video will include intention and dua for Aqiqah, the baby’s name and mentioning the date and time of zabiha.

Select the day of Aqiqah. We operate Monday to Sunday excluding bank holidays. It is sunnah to perform Aqiqah on the 7th day of birth - with day 1 being the day of birth. So if the baby is born on a Tuesday the 7th day is Monday. If it falls on a day we're not working we will pick the closest working day.

It is Sunnah to be a malik (owner) of the Aqiqah animal at the time of slaughter

Aqiqah is a traditional offering made by Muslim parents when a child is born. This is made as an act of gratitude and thanksgiving to God, in a similar way to Qurbani and the sacrifice of Prophet Abraham (pbuh). Traditionally two animals are put forward for a boy and one for a girl but of course there are no limits to however many you do! Offer Aqiqah Sheep in Ghana here.
